| Onward House is conveniently located in the
picturesque village of Hurworth,
near Darlington. There is ample parking available directly
outside the practice, which is great if you are bringing the family or if the weather is
wintry. The village is on a frequent service bus
route, and indeed there is a stop directly outside the front door. |
|
| Onward House from the A66
(Darlington) At the Reg Vardy roundabout
shown on the map below, take the A167 towards Northallerton. Follow the road for about a
mile. As you enter Croft village, you will see that the road ahead crosses the river Tees,
via an old stone bridge.
|

|
| Just before the bridge, turn left. The road
steers up a steepish bank. Continue along this road, which will take you into Hurworth and
through the village green. After passing through the green, you will approach the old
village church on your right hand side. The surgery is situated just past the church, on
the other side of the road. Onward House is easily
identifiable as a taller Victorian building, within a terrace of Georgian cottages. The
frontage is covered by a woody Wisteria and has a white bay window.
